Bentley Celebrates 100th Birthday - Launches Autonomous EXP 100 GT Concept

The company celebrates its 100th birthday as it launches a futuristic all-electric concept in the form of the EXP 100 GT concept. The iconic Bentley's concept was first revealed at its headquarters in Crewe exhibiting the dynamic GT concept as a part of the electric future.

As per Bentley’s director of design, Stefan Sielaff, The EXP 100 GT represents the company’s future which will incite intense emotions in passengers and drivers while creating unique memories for them as they travel to different places.

The EXP 100 GT concept incorporates futuristic features with a compelling look. The concept possesses a massive grille with 6,000 LED bulbs. The well-designed headlights at the front offer a modern Bentley touch with a unique two-roundel setup. From the roof-line to the windshield and the rear valence, the design fits an overall smooth impression into the minds of the people.

The Design:

The slim and sleek EXP 100 GT offers a 19 ft. length with 7.8 ft. width. The carbon and aluminum elements with great bodywork cover the roofline and extend to the rear. The windshield with copper and silver accents and the Active Aero wheels provides a finished look to the new Bentley concept.

Further, the concept includes battery-electric power-train that can cover 60 miles per hour within 2.5 seconds. The powerful concept allows the drivers to cover 700 kilometers (435 miles) with just one-time charging. The fast-charging battery charges up to 80% within 15 minutes.

As per the company, it also incorporates an intelligent assistant positioned in the center console. The concept offers five driving modes to enhance the experience of the drivers. These modes are divided into enhancing, cocoon, capture, re-live, and customize.

The Enhance mode adopts characteristics of the outside, the Cocoon mode covers the privacy aspect, the Capture mode records experiences, the Re-live mode plays previous tour experiences, and the Customize mode integrates all the elements of the four-driving modes.

The Driving Experience:

Bentley’s GT concept will provide an electrifying experience to passengers as per Stefan Sielaff. It will over efficiency and high-performance on the roads with an exclusive interior space and an impressive exterior. The five driving-modes will offer emotional human experiences and a futuristic concept. The GT will boost interactivity while offering multiple control options with proper safety measures while driving on the roads.
